Garber Cheerleaders show us all how to give

Garber Cheerleaders

It is impossible to describe the giving and care that a special group of young ladies illustrated for all of us. The usual tradition with Garber Cheerleaders is to exchange gifts within their squad, but they broke that tradition this year. Instead they all elected to adopt a Project DUKE Christmas Angel. Not only did they adopt the one angel, they also bought and donated extra items for the other angels that might need it. These young ladies have shown the true spirit of giving with no expectation of reward. As their superintendent, I could not be more proud of them. The young ladies will change our world for the better and it all started here at Garber High School with a single angel. Kudos to Jamey Listerman and Jordan Sansburn who are the coaches of the squad.

Thank you all so much for reinforcing this holiday season by giving,

Matthew Cortez

Superintendent
