Bush NCA Goals

Receiving accreditation means that the district meets or exceeds the educational standards set by the Michigan Department of Education. Although accreditation does not determine how good one school is in comparison to another, it does provide the information that the standards have been met. Bush Elementary has received a Certificate of Accreditation from the North Central Association. Criteria for accreditation includes qualified teachers, progress toward our goals, quality of program and parental involvement. This accreditation is renewed yearly.

NCA Goals for W.R. Bush elementary:

  • Math Goal: All students will show improvement of their knowledge of basic math facts.

Writing Goal: All students will improve in the area of Idea and Content and Conventions.

Literacy Goal: All students will show improvement in early literacy reading skills.
